Server
The majority of the AME's functionality is contained on the Server. The AME Server stores Service Modules, processes data, and performs distribution of incoming and processed data.
An AME Server communicates with the AME Client or other AME Servers. As more Servers are connected to the AME network, the capabilities of the entire system also increase. This is possible because each AME Server has access to the Service Modules found on other AME Servers. This allows operators to leverage the capabilities of the entire network of distributed communications system components and platforms.
The AME Server can be controlled both locally and remotely. For remote control applications, operators use the AME Client. For local applications. the AME comes with an AME Server GUI. The Server GUI allows operators to easily configure the AME Server for local integration and test of system components.
