MissionSpace has extensive expertise in systems engineering and design. Our skilled engineers work closely with our clients to clearly define their system requirements. Once requirements have been defined, we provide them with a solid design and a complete implementation roadmap for their system.
Services
Overview
MissionSpace provides comprehensive support services to ensure our clients' success in designing, implementing, and deploying their communications systems.
Whether developing a new communications system or upgrading an existing one, MissionSpace is committed to delivering the highest level of training, consulting and integration support services to meet each customer's unique requirements.
Systems Engineering
MissionSpace's AME technology greatly facilitates the systems integration process. The AME enables MissionSpace to perform systems integration services at a fraction of the cost and time required of more tradtional integration methodologies. Based on customer requirements, MissionSpace will provide fully tested, preintegrated AME systems that come with all necessary Service Modules pre-installed.
Systems Integration
Traditional vs. AME Integration Methodologies
Unlike current integration methodologies, the AMEs modular integration process creates "plug-and-play" Modules that are interoperable across the entire AME network. This provides ground system operators with massive reductions in cost and complexity due to:
- Standardized integration process for any software-controllable component
- Reuse of integrated modules (similar to a device "driver" on a PC)
- Reduced time to integrate and test new Modules (automated testing)
- Easily insert new technologies as they arise (seamless spiral upgrades)
By providing a common communications and integration platform, the AME enables significant cost reductions by creating a fully interoperable, modular framework for communications system integration and test. Furthermore, the AME's standardized integration process provides a common interface for all communications system elements, often enabling components to be integrated in days rather than weeks.
Traditional integration processes involve hard-coded, custom integration between communication components. This is a costly and inefficient process resulting in:
- High integration costs (no standardized integration process)
- Non-reusable or distributable systems (stovepipes)
- Inflexible architectures (not modular)
- Tightly coupled (difficult to upgrade)
